 Training as a stonemason at the stoneworking college in Wunsiedel

1952-1955

 Studied sculpture at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design

from 1968

 Worked as an artist in Oggelshausen

1969Co-initiator of the Oggelshausen Sculpture Symposium which was modelled on the Symposium of European Sculptors held by the sculptor Karl Prantl in Sankt Margarethen, Burgenland, Austria.
