Heinz Pistol

b. 20 June 1940 in Dortmund (D),  d. 4 January 2009 in Hüfingen (D); German sculptor, illustrator and architect

He lived and worked in Hüfingen.

1965-1971 Studied sculpture at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design under Professors Baudert and Baumann
Further studies followed under the Italian sculptors Luciano Minguzzi and Caliveri. He also studied architecture under Jacob Bakema in Rotterdam and Salzburg.

Awards and Prizes:

He received several awards and prizes and was, for example, National Youth Winner in Mainz. He took part in many art and culture projects in Germany and elsewhere.
