Co-founder of the Wiener Gruppe (with Friedrich Achleitner, Hans Carl Artmann, Konrad Bayer and Oswald Wiener), publisher of an anthology of the same name. His artistic work is inspired by August Stramm, Kurt Schwitters, Gertrude Stein, Carl Einstein and Paul Scheerbart among others |
He is a member of the Österreichischer Kunstsenat. Gerhard Rühm lives in Cologne and Vienna.
