1949-1953	Worked in Albert Schilling's studio in Arlesheim; attended courses at the school of applied arts in Basel
1953	First exhibition in Lucerne Art Museum after moving to Basel
1952 and 1955	Funding Award of the Swiss Arts Commission; first commissions in the field of Christian religious art followed.
1955-1960	Drawing teacher at Sursee middle school
1960-1966	Worked at the high school in Aarau
1977	Co-founder of the "Espasme" group
1993	Prix de la Sculpture of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris
